  • 8 cups of cold broth
  • 3 sabaneras potatoes, peeled and cut into squares
  • 3 Creole potatoes, peeled and cut into squares
  • 1 branch of coriander
  • Preparation



  • Ingredients for Hogao
  • 3 oil tablespoons
  • 1 ½ cup long onion
  • 2 cups tomato
  • Salt, pepper, cumin and color to taste

Soak the rice in the broth for an hour. Prepare the hogao or stew in the oil with the onion, tomato and seasonings. Then put the rice with the broth, the coriander branch, the potatoes and half of the prepared stew in a pot. Cook for about 20 minutes or until potatoes and rice open and check for flavor. Serve with ground beef, egg, banana slices, avocado, and more hogao.
