RICE WITH BEANS AND RICE WITH CARAOTA

  • 2 cups of rice
  • 1 ½ cup black beans (beans) or black-headed white beans
  • ½ cup of chopped big onion
  • Preparation



  • 3 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 3 oil tablespoons
  • Salt, pepper and chili to taste

Soak the beans in water from the day before. Cook beans in water until soft (about 1 hour). Reserve. Separately prepare a stew with the onion and garlic in the hot oil, add the rice and fry a little, stirring for 1 minute. Add 4 cups of broth where the beans were cooked, stir, add salt, pepper and chili to taste. Let cook until dry, add beans, stir, lower heat, cover and cook for 20 minutes.
