RICE WITH SHRIMP

  • 2 cups of rice FEDEARROZ GOURMET
  • 3 oil tablespoons
  • ½ cup long onion, chopped
  • 1 cup of chopped ripe tomato
  • ½ cup of paprika, chopped into strips
  • 1 teaspoon finely minced garlic
  • Preparation



  • ½ cup of minced sweet pepper
  • Salt, pepper and cumin to taste
  • ¼ cup tomato paste
  • 4 cups of water
  • 2 pounds shrimp

In the pot where the rice is to be prepared, heat the oil and make the sauce with the onion, tomato, paprika, garlic and sweet pepper; add salt, pepper, and cumin to taste. Finally, add the rice and the tomato paste dissolved in the hot water, cook until dry. Add the shrimp, stir and lower the heat, cover the rice and cook for 15 to 20 minutes until done. It should be a little wet.
