The Transfer of Technology has been for 25 years another of the programs that the National Federation of Rice Growers - National Rice Fund has, to carry the results of the multiple investigations that are made around the cultivation of rice. The purpose of this program is to train, promote, advise and encourage among producers each of the cultivation practices developed or adapted for the five rice-growing areas of the country.
In the development of this program, a series of spaces for socialization and direct experience are carried out through conferences, workshops, field days, monitoring, seminars, courses, web tools and printed material (Rice Magazine, Specialized Booklets, Mail Bulletin). These activities are carried out in a programmed and sequential way, aimed at farmers, irrigators, administrators, tractor drivers, agronomists, students and interested public, thus allowing to provide all the available technology for each of the tasks in the crop.

The transfer is also made through radio and television programs and participation in national and international events. For this, it has a team of professionals specialized in different disciplines of rice cultivation, who can be consulted by all grain producers.
Publications in various media are a valuable tool for developing the Technology Transfer program. Fedearroz - Fondo Nacional del Arroz has printed materials, radio and television spaces and uses applications on social networks to broadcast national and international events on the topics of greatest interest in the rice industry.
